The Children's Red Balloon Run and Relay is a mass participatory event that includes a 5K Run/Walk, a relay and a 1K fun run for kids under the age of 12. The Red Balloon Run is designed to be a rally for supporters and fundraisers for Children's Medical Center.

The TX Tough Grand Prix is a criterium style bicycle race held in downtown Dallas, and is the largest professional cycling event in the southwestern United States. In 2010 the Grand Prix will serve as the USA CRITS Championship Series finals.

New in 2010 a USAC category 2/3 race is being introduced for cycling enthusiasts interested in both competing and fundraising for Children's.

The TX Tough 250 Austin to Dallas bicycle ride is a 250 mile, three day journey. Riders will pass through some of the most scenic and expansive areas of central Texas including the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Preserve. Participants will ride along side and be guided by some of cycling's top professionals and legends such as Frankie Andreu.
