The Children's Red Balloon Run and Relay is a mass participatory event that includes a 5K Run/Walk, a relay and a 1K fun run for kids under the age of 12. The Red Balloon Run is designed to be a rally for supporters and fundraisers for Children's Medical Center.

The TX Tough Grand Prix is a criterium style bicycle race held in downtown Dallas, and is the largest professional cycling event in the southwestern United States. In 2010 the Grand Prix introduced an amateur race and participants raised over $107,000 for Children's Medical Center.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience, the TX TOUGH 250 is a new event being introduced by 250 of some of Dallas’s most influential business people who have committed to ride from Austin to Dallas and collectively raise $1 million dollars for Children’s Medical Center. The participants have the opportunity to ride wheel to wheel with some of cycling’s legends like 9-time Tour de France finisher Frankie Andreu, during the 2-day ride. Event will take place May 7th – 8th, 2011.
